Google’s new stable release of Chrome brings improvements in security, privacy, and graphics to Chrome’s 160 million users.

Chrome is now more secure, thanks to enhancements to Google’s Safe Browsing technology. In addition to protecting you from certain malware and phishing websites, Chrome now warns you before downloading some types of malicious files. Google have carefully designed this feature so that malicious content can be detected without Chrome or Google ever having to know about the URLs you visit or the files you download.

Google have introduced the speed of Google Instant to the latest version of Google Toolbar for Internet Explorer - Not to mention the fresh, clean look that personalises Toolbar with the tools you use most.

If you’ve used Instant on google.com or in Chrome, you’ll be right at home with Toolbar Instant. Just start typing in the search box and search predictions and results will appear instantly as you type, getting you the results you want faster.

Just when you think life in the cloud can’t get much better - the Web Clipboard Chrome extension for Google Docs decides to come to the party. Available in the Chrome extension gallery, it allows you to copy and paste text and images from the web into the cloud using the Google Docs clipboard. This means that all the web content that you copy and paste is stored in your online clipboard so you can access it quickly and easily across multiple browser windows. You can even copy multiple items at a time.
